Why this matters
- First Ethiopian security company to elevate International Security Officers' Day into a national celebration
- Permanent, salaried professional officers — not exploitative agency labor
- Aligned with Federal Police Commission Proclamation and Guideline 01/2011
- Pursuing ISO 18788 certification and ICoCA membership
This July, Simba Security Service (3S) dedicates the entire month to honoring the men and women who protect our clients, our communities, and our nation — making Ethiopian history as the first security company to elevate International Security Officers' Day into a national celebration.
For too long, security guards in Ethiopia have been treated as low-status, temporary labor — hired through exploitative agency models that skim wages and offer no career path. Simba Security Service rejects that model entirely. Our officers are permanent, salaried professionals, operating under Ethiopia's Federal Police Commission Proclamation and Guideline 01/2011 — and we are actively pursuing ISO 18788 certification and ICoCA membership, aligning our operations with the highest global standards for private security conduct.
#ThankYouSecurityOfficers
Throughout July, we're recognizing our officers through appreciation campaigns, refresher training, and operational excellence demonstrations — building up to a landmark ceremony on July 24th at the East Africa Holding Head Office in Addis Ababa.
Simba Security Service is proud to lead Ethiopia's private security sector toward a professional, internationally aligned future — one where our officers are recognized as career professionals, not casual labor.
Join us all month long in celebrating the officers who never stop protecting.
